January, 11, 2024 | Irving, TX: The Jensen Project will open its fourth cycle of GrantTank, a funding program and think tank for leaders in the anti-trafficking field, on February 12, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. CT. The GrantTank 2024 cycle will offer funding to four categories of nonprofits: This cycle of GrantTank will provide up to $2 million to organizations who provide safe housing or economic empowerment to adult female survivors of sex trafficking, offer proprietary technology solutions intended to advance the anti-trafficking field, or fight for Equality Model policymaking in the United States.
Our GrantTank selection is a rigorous six-month process: The application portal will be open until March 15, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. CT, and scheduled calls for interested applicants will take place between now and then. From there, the Programs Team will conduct Zoom interviews with applicant leadership. The Jensen Project will then conduct site visits for finalists. The GrantTank 2024 recipients will be announced publicly on August 1, 2024.
Last year, GrantTank funded nonprofits from three different categories—housing, technological solutions in the field, and Equality Model policymaking—whereas the previous years funded only housing and economic empowerment. Technology and policy appeared in 2023 for the first time as application categories for GrantTank; technology to support more national efforts, extending the reach of the movement in the United States, and policy to ensure that women and other vulnerable populations could not be exploited through fully decriminalized prostitution.
Since its conception, The Jensen Project’s GrantTank program has partnered with 26 unique organizations and funded more than $10 million in grants to elevate the anti-trafficking field.
The Jensen Project has been fueling the fight against sexual violence through grant opportunities and third-party resources since 2017, and GrantTank has been its main program offering since 2020.
